In 2014 OFCCP overhauled the agency’s affirmative action regulations for individuals with disabilities. Five years later, OFCCP is curious to check in and see how employers are doing. And by “curious,” we mean the agency has implemented a new type of audit concentrating exclusively on the Section 503 disability AAP. They’re called “focused reviews” and they are unlike anything most people have ever seen. This session will provide an overview of OFCCP’s regulatory requirements and how the agency enforces those obligations. Most of the time will be spent walking through a detailed checklist to prepare for and manage an OFCCP disability focused review. From preparing the desk audit submission, to anticipating OFCCP’s follow-up requests for information, to preparing for the onsite that will be part of every focused review, this tool can help you cross every “t,” dot every “i,” and present to OFCCP the strongest possible compliance posture.
