Revived and revised, “The Right Handshake” examines the legitimately different roles of Compliance and Diversity and how they should function together in your organization to better achieve both groups’ goals. BCGi Director Matt Nusbaum geeks out with some Venn diagrams to look at where Compliance and Diversity functions overlap and, where they do, who should support whom and with who’s tools (and rules). By gaining clarity about the real differences between Compliance and Diversity functions, they can support one another in ways that will allow both to achieve far more together than they ever could on their own. The key often comes down to knowing when either the law or social science should be driving the bus.
